Wood is sustainable

We use sustainable wood. The responsible origin of this wood ensures that forests are managed sustainably, as evidenced by our PEFC ™, FSC® and STIP® certificates. Wood is renewable: trees can be harvested from 20 years, unlike other raw materials that take centuries to develop. With responsible forest management, we ensure together that wood is not depleted. It has been used as a raw material in construction for hundreds of years and has proven to be durable and reliable.

Wood is also the most recyclable material. Of course it is also a biodegradable material, so we keep the earth clean for future generations. Responsible sustainable wood is basically circular and can be reused infinitely.

Wood isolates naturally

Wood is a naturally insulating material. The unique cell structure of this material contains insulating properties that are, for example, 1170 times higher than that of aluminum, 15 times higher than that of concrete and 400 times higher than that of steel! The wall connections of wooden frames prevent unnecessary heat and therefore energy losses. The use of wooden frames or timber frame elements in a building therefore saves a lot of energy during the entire lifespan of the building

Wood gives freedom of design

Wood is the choice of many designers. All details are tailor-made. Wood can be supplied in any color and has a naturally warm appearance. Because wood allows customization, it can be adapted to every wish and need. Wooden frames can also be adapted later in the use phase, such as installing triple glass in a NZEB-Frame in order to enjoy even better insulation benefits and in this way also comply with the NOM standard. Due to the design freedom and flexibility of wood, any desired appearance is possible. Scaffold-free construction elements also provide an attractive appearance through the combination of timber frame construction elements with facade finishes.
