Sustainable
As a carpentry factory, we care about how we source our wood. The wood we use must meet various requirements, which is why WEBO produces frames from FSC®, PEFC™ and STIP®-certified wood.
STIP® certification
A STIP® certificate indicates that only sustainable wood from responsibly/sustainably managed forests has been used. Our STIP® quality mark is frequently put to the test by an independent institution to make sure that we only use and sell sustainably harvested wood. STIP® = 100% responsible wood. WEBO is currently the first party in possession of a STIP® certificate. You don’t just want to realise your own project in a sustainable manner, but you want all projects to be realised with sustainable wood.
FSC® certification
FSC®, the Forest Stewardship Council, is an international organisation that was founded in 1993 and stimulates responsible forest management. FSC® sets global standards for forest management, coupled with a quality mark. Please visit our FSC® page.
PEFC™ certification
PEFC™ stands for Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification, a global non-profit organisation that has no ties to any government. The ultimate goal of PEFC™ is guaranteeing responsible forest management worldwide.
